Creating keeps me sane and I never know what I’m going to make, I’m not a planner type at all. The swirly trees came about from a failed croissant baking attempt that I carried over into porcelain. Sometimes glazes fail or things warp in firing, but I try to make the best of what I end up with.

I’m a big fan of Avatar: The Last Airbender, an animated series I watched with my boys years ago then again by myself during the isolation of 2020. It’s such an amazing show with amazing values that I feel all kids and adults should watch.

I started by creating a set of teas that are enjoyed throughout the three seasons, particularly by Uncle Iroh, a supremely wise and jolly character.

That spawned the design of a realistic map of the Avatar World. I really went down the rabbit hole on this one, folks. I just hope there are others out there who might enjoy these two fan-created items.

The tea set is meant to be enjoyed as you watch the show but it’s not required. included teas range from common to luxury to rare. It’s the luxury and rare teas that pushed the price up a little higher than I wanted, but once you taste these teas you’ll understand why they were chosen.
